If you haven’t been following posts on Facebook you probably wonder what has happened to us. To be truthful, we expect most future updates to be via Randy’s Facebook page. If we are not friends please send a friend request. If I (Randy) don’t know you it would be good to send a message so that I add you as a friend and you stay informed of activities.

So much has been happening, both good and bad. Managing the new Cultural Arts Centre occupies a huge part of Randy’s time. They have their own website (www.cac.ac.tz) and MANY activities. If you would like to help support this exciting endeavour so that we can finish our construction project please go to the Support page. Megan is thriving in graduate school in Finland and performing throughout Europe. Nathan is thriving in the Computer Science program at University of Texas. Marissa is thriving in Tanzania and attending a new school near us, which she loves. Carol spent time in the States with her mother and continues to share so much with young students and our university students. Randy enjoyed running sound at the Bayimba Festival in Uganda, performing and presenting in Malaysia, and watching the Cultural Arts Centre construction progress.

This past few months have had some tough times for us, the death of Randy’s dad in Septebmer, a herniated disc for Carol that has had her on bedrest for 5 weeks now, and the rape and murder of our Tanzanian daughter Juliana just 2 weeks before her 20th birthday. Unfortunately, the police have reacted slowly and it is difficult to say they are doing an actual investigation. November was pretty devastating for us.

A family newsletter with more news and details should be out by the middle of this month. Please check back.

Thank you for continued  prayers and other forms of support.

In His Hands,

Randy, Carol, Megan, Marissa, Nathan Stubbs, Joanitha and Beti
